Here's a little jumpy bluesy number to get the mood started. I dedicate this to my muse, Megan, without whom this project may never have happened.
A true story. Yep. Warning: this is a bit of an earworm. You Have Been Warned.
A waking dream, perhaps. Not a roadmap. I may have had some early Zappa in mind when crafting this sloppy blues piece.
This one was written for a violinist friend who just couldn't make it out alive.
More dirty bluesy stuff. Yes, this is me singing still.
Written for, or rather, about real people I knew at one time. Kinda botched the lyrics when I recorded. The line is "daddy DRANK full time", not whatever it was that I actually sang.
A fun look at the male gaze. Or, something like that. The bridge is a vocal disaster, but I rather like it like that.
A love song to an imaginary lover, I imagine. Good walking music, IMO.
A song dedicated to no one in particular really, but I may have had Ani in mind.
Country folk protest song anyone? The lyrics are really silly, but the sentiment is right, in a way.
A snapshot of anger and despair, with noisy guitar.
Don't even ask what this means, because I'm not sure it means anything.
Another protest-type thing.
AND, finally, the one thing a white guy should never do: claim to be a bluesman. Oh, well. Apologies to George Carlin.
